This position reports to Director of Risk Management and formulates the tactical alignment and oversight of daily risk mitigation tasks, activities, and efforts for Fort Campbell Federal Credit Union. Direct the collection efforts, recovery efforts, fraudulent activity detection and response, and enforcement of creditor’s rights for the Credit Union in order to effectively maintain delinquency control and mitigate risks (credit risk and collections risk, fraud risk, regulatory risk, and legal risk) to an acceptable level for the Credit Union. Include handling repossessions, bankruptcies, foreclosures, and member contacts and counseling; working and collecting past due accounts; recommending charge-offs; rewrites consumer loans; coordinate and monitor collection of charged-off loans with collection agencies; monitor and respond to suspicious transactions, recover fraudulent cash transactions; coordinate and monitor forgeries on share draft accounts. High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business, or related field preferred. At least 3 years experience in collections and fraud and loss prevention in a bank of credit union and Supervisory experience required
